Privacy Policy

Last updated: 6 July 2026

At DigiPrep, protecting the privacy of our visitors is a priority. This policy explains what information we collect and how we use it.

Information We Collect

When you use DigiPrep without creating an account, we do not collect personal data directly from you, except as described in the bug-report and advertising sections below.

Through our use of Google AdSense, certain information may be automatically collected, including:

  • Cookies and usage data: Google AdSense may use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to our website or other websites on the internet.

Accounts and sign-in

If you choose to create a DigiPrep account or sign in, we collect information needed to authenticate you and maintain your account. This may include:

  • Email address: if you sign up with email and password.
  • Google account information: if you choose Continue with Google, we receive basic profile information from Google (such as your name and email address) through our authentication provider, Supabase.
  • Account profile: a basic profile record linked to your account (for example, display name derived from your email or Google profile).

Creating an account is optional. You can still use much of DigiPrep without signing in; progress may be stored locally in your browser until you choose to sign in.

When you are signed in, we may store learning-related data associated with your account (such as quiz results, marking progress, or PDF annotations) so it can be retrieved when you return. This cloud storage is being introduced gradually; not all features may sync to your account yet.

Authentication and account data are processed using Supabase. We do not sell your account information.

How We Use Your Information

We use account information to let you sign in, maintain your profile, and (where enabled) save and restore your learning progress across sessions and devices.

We use Google AdSense to serve advertisements. This service uses cookies to deliver personalized ads and measure their effectiveness. For more information on how Google uses data, please visit the Google Privacy & Terms page.

Children's Information

Another part of our priority is adding protection for children while using the internet. We encourage parents and guardians to observe, participate in, and/or monitor and guide their online activity.

DigiPrep does not knowingly collect any Personal Identifiable Information from children under the age of 13. If you think that your child provided this kind of information on our website, we strongly encourage you to contact us immediately and we will do our best efforts to promptly remove such information from our records.

Bug reports and diagnostic logs

If you choose to report a bug (via Report a bug in the site footer or on a past paper viewer), you may optionally include a short description and email address. When you submit, we receive a technical activity log to help reproduce the issue. This log typically includes your browser type, page URL, recent in-app actions (such as tool changes or save events), and error messages. It does not include your full annotations, written answers, or mark choices by default.

Submitting a bug report is voluntary. Reports are stored securely on our servers so we can investigate and fix problems. You cannot view past reports in the app. If you provide an email address, we may use it to reply about your report.
